Come experience the Town of Okotoks' Tipi Camp for the first time ever, located outside of our all-Indigenous Artisan Market from May 31 to June 2. The Tipi camp honours the Town's 2023 Tipi transfer and brings together important partners for conversation and ceremony. There will be fireside stories with Blackfoot Elders, a Pipe Ceremony, and an opportunity to shop more than 100 Indigenous artists and creators at the market.
The Indigenous Artisan Market & Tipi Camp are part of the Town’s commitment to advancing Truth and Reconciliation, and create opportunity to celebrate Indigenous culture, identity and art – just in time for National Indigenous People's History Month, which runs throughout June.
The market and Tipi camp are free to attend, and food will be available for purchase onsite. Find the full schedule of events at the link below.
*Please note, registration to take part in the all-Indigenous Artisan Market and Tipi Camp is now closed.
